A poetic journey through my mind

Holy cow awesome! This kid is a future…everything! Engineer, entrepreneur, architect…don’t think there’s anything he can’t do if he gets his hands on it. Watch the video, you’ll love it, and there’s a link to give a dollar to help Caine get a higher education. Encourage genius and imagination, people! πŸ™‚

Shambolic Living

I love this video. Caine takes the whole playing with cardboard boxes to a new level and kudos to his Dad for letting his son go wild with his imagination.

The video was made by a guy called Nirvan Mullick who just happened to wander into the spare parts auto shop one day and discovered Caine’s Arcade.

There is now a college fund established when you can donate a dollar to get Caine a higher education.

Heh. Yay, internets. He reminds me of a little one I used to babysit…3 yrs. old, loved to build forts with cd cases and video tapes (remember those? ;P ) so his dad bought a special cabinet, with a lock, and put all the temptations in it. Unfortunately he made the mistake of letting Julian -watch- him put it together…even let him tighten a screw or two…whoops. When they woke up in the morning, they found him sitting in the middle of the floor, building a fort…and the cabinet carefully taken apart and laid in organized pieces on the floor. *laughs*

      • Omg, that’s awesome. I’d be proud if my kids did that.

*giggles* Yeah, he was a pretty smart kid…when he was not quite 2 he would sit on his mama’s lap and play computer games with the mouse. He could sightread the cable channel menu, so if it happened to say Sesame Street or godforbid Elmo, we had to change it fast or let him watch it…or get a temper tantrum that could last for hours. *rolls eyes* Like all gifted/smart kids I’ve ever met (myself included,,, πŸ˜‰ ) he was a handful Stubborn to the point of ridiculousness sometimes. At almost 3 he decided that he wasn’t going to sleep again. “No night-night never never!” He lasted for 72 hours before the doctor finally suggested giving him a spoonful of cold syrup… *shakes head* He’s also responsible for my saying the most random phrase ever… “No, Julian…your brother is not a pull-toy!” *giggles* Fresh out of the bath, two and three, Liam didn’t want to leave…so Jules “helped” him by grabbing him by the most convenient “handle”… >;<

  6. Wonderful way to raise money for Caine’s education–Reminds me of a carboard HUGE apartment house and adjoining shops my own kids constructed one summer while growingup.
